From the ceremony to the dance floor
Music can play many different roles at a wedding.
Maybe you want one very special song during the ceremony. Calm music while guests mingle or during dinner. Or a band that makes sure the party really gets going later in the evening.
I can be part of one moment of the day — or several.

When the music sets the mood
Not every event needs a packed dance floor.
For dinners, mingling and receptions I offer a calmer repertoire with piano and vocals or backing tracks — jazz standards, Norwegian classics, singer-songwriter songs and stripped-back versions of well-known pop songs.
The music is there without taking over the room.
Funerals and memorial services
Music when words aren’t quite enough
Regular funeral singer since 2010.
Music can take on a meaning of its own when we say goodbye to someone.
I sing at funerals and memorial services, and I’m happy to help find a song that feels right for the person and the family.
If you already have a particular song in mind, you’re of course welcome to ask about it.
Practical details
I play piano and sing, and bring my own sound system and microphone. On some songs I use backing tracks. I can also sing a cappella or with an organist. Get in touch for a price.
